Project Summary

SWAN- Smart WAys to promote uNderprivileged youth employability is an Erasmus+ initiative dedicated to empowering disadvantaged young people and strengthening the capacity of youth workers across Europe. The project addresses pressing challenges such as youth unemployment, social stigma, and barriers to inclusion by equipping participants with the tools, skills, and support needed to thrive personally and professionally.

Key activities include personalized mentoring, self-esteem building workshops, work readiness training, and advocacy sessions that foster confidence, resilience, and active citizenship. At the same time, youth workers receive professional development to enhance their ability to promote mutual understanding, respect, and tolerance. Through its integrated approach, SWAN not only supports individual growth but also seeks long-term systemic change by building inclusive communities, reducing inequalities, and promoting social cohesion.

With partners from Greece, Croatia, Romania, Hungary, Latvia, and Bulgaria, the project aims to create a ripple effect of empowerment and opportunity that extends far beyond its direct participants .
